The first port of call on this road trip was Canyonlands National Park. In this vast landscape, the scenery changes around every turn.
The La Sal mountain range can be seen in the distance from most of the park and while we were there, seemed to be floating like an island in the sky.
It was a bit overwhelming to ‘stumble’ into view of some amazing sights around every turn. The photo above is looking through the Mesa Arch to the canyon below.
We spent less than a day here and saw only a small fraction of this amazing place but if you get the time to visit, take a seat and take it all in.
